Pairpoint Crystal was founded as the Mount Washington Glass Co. back in 1837. In 1894, it merged with the Pairpoint Silver Co. to gain the name of Pairpoint. To this day, the company has maintained the highest standards of craftsmanship, beauty and quality, and utilize many of the formulas and techniques that have shaped the products that have passed down from generation to generation. Pairpoint's glassblowers, many of whom hail from Europe, continue to produce objects of great beauty, by hand, one at a time, in their factory alongside the Cape Cod Canal.
